I found your slant on rigs, techniques, feature finding, bait and it's application, and also your knowledge of carp as a species to be very useful.
It was also obvious that many others there found your talk on the Friday night to be both informative and 'eye opening' !

Thanks again for the tutorial on Sunday.
I learnt loads and am looking forward to put all I have learnt into practice this weekend and into the future hopefully catching more fish.
Reflecting on the day I am staggered what I achieved and it is all down to your patient instruction.
 I have ‘bigged you up’ to my Carp Angling friends and certainly one of them is looking to do something in the Spring.
 I have attached the photos you took and if you want please feel free to use them on the website.
 I thought I might , with your Ok, drop a line to the letters page of the magazine who did the story on tuition ( where I got your details) and let them know the success I had as a result of their article. I would assume that this would be good publicity for you if they print it, but let me know if you are happy with this.

Harry and I had a great time over the two days. Harry learnt so much and is now super confident about constructing his own rigs, reading the water, casting, unhooking and taking care of the fish he catches. Since the time with yourself he caught a 30lb common the day you left, the only run that day, but a cracking fish to close on. Also at a local water he caught a 24lb mirror.
Your tuition was precise, informative and fun. All we need to learn now is to get up in the middle of night!!!
I hope your were successful in your exams and best of luck in your future ventures. I know Harry’s friends are keen to repeat his experience. You come highly recommended. We will certainly take you up on the offer to fish with you again
