Making your hookbait more buoyant will cause it to fly up into the fish’s mouth more easily catching out wary feeding fish. This can be achieved by drilling out a standard pop up boilie with a bait drill.

On the hair of the rig then attach a Fox pop-up weight. The size of the weight must make the pop-up sink slowly.

Slide the pop up onto the hair and slide the weight into the hookbait
